So I'm thinking of making a LED hood for a bio cube 29gal. In hopes to be able to keep coral in my tank. I'm thinking of having 200 to 250 LEDs with half of them blue light 450 nM and the other half white light 6000 to 8000k. I think this will give me 13 to 15 watts of light. I know this is about half the watts as the compact tubes the system comes with but dose this matter? Dose anyone have see any problems with this idea. I all ready know that saltwater is a good conductor.
