Hi everyone, i'm Steve. I just want to introduce myself. I just recently became a member of BAS about a week ago. And came out to see Tony Vargas' presentation on Successful Reef Aquariums on the very same day. The night was great and so were the people. I enjoyed it very much, even won some raffle prizes and took home an auction item...doesn't get much better.
I look forward to learning from all of you and participating in all these wonderful discussions. Thanks for having me and happy fish keeping. :hi:

Welcome aboard; we are glad to have another excited member. What kind of fish do you keep?

Hello Xoomer. I'm glad to be aboard. I have a 180gal Marine Reef setup and am planning on an under 50 gal Nano in the next year. I have a Yellow Tang, Mystery Wrasse, Midas Blenny, few Gobies, and bunch of inverts and corals for now. But haven't really found my main "showcase" fish yet. Maybe some ideas from the members would be nice at the next meeting? Or any responses would also be appreciated. Thanks all.

Steve,

Glad to have you as a member. At the next meeting on April 13 we will have the legendary Larry Jinks speaking about how to set up a fish room. This promises to be a great event. Even though the monthly themes are either fresh or marine we always have freshwater fish, marine corals and fish and also plants at our auctions. I''m sure you wil lfind something that you would enjoy taking home. As always we have our experts in freshwater fish, plants and marine fish and corals readily available to give advive and suggestions.

See you in a couple of weeks.
