If you like cichlids that aren't the same ol regular types that are always around (oscars,dempseys,jewels,terrors,convicts, etc.). I can tell you that Petland Discounts in the Home Depot shopping center on Ave. U (Bklyn) has a tank of beautiful young Uarus about 2", and also a tank of young Salvinis also about 2 1/2'-3". Healthy, robust and moderately priced.
