Clorox

A fried of mine cleaned his rocks ,which r quite large with Clorox bleach ;is this the right thing to do.HEtold me he rinsed them a few times in fresh water but now he is having some problems with a few African cichlids he has in a 75 with a bunch of convicts,, he thinks mabe it's the ph as he really does nothing to alter the tap ph??🐠🐠🐟🐟🐟

first off you have to dilute the bleach with water about 20 to 1
second you have to rince them untill there is no bleach smell left.
if the smell stays you can place them in sunlight to remove the smell
as far as the africans it depend on what they are raise in and what lake they are from
alot of tank raised africans, i know are raised in 7.0
you should realy find out what they are raised in first
