I BOUGHT A SHOP LIGHT IN HOME DEPOT ,DUAL LAMP T8 . I CUT AN EXTENSION CORD AND WIRE NUTED IT TOGETHER ,PLUGED IT IN AN ALAS I GOT LIGHT ;]] ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS SETUP???:shock2:

as long as it is away from the water the fixture is fine.
as far as the bulbs, you need to replace them with aquarium lamps.
aquarium bulbs are made specificly for aquariums as not to promote algae growth.
you should also replace bulbs about every 12-14 monthes.
when they get old they will increaes algae growth.
