What Do Angelfish Do?

It's been 50 years since I had an Angelfish last before the one I got at the March auction. I put in a planted tank, and It came out of it's bag a few inches in front of the filter outflow. It's still there! It really doesn't move much at all, except to eat Tetramin which it didn't start eating until the 7th day it was in the tank. It has some plants, but doesn't go over there and stays in the filter outflow. It seems quite healthy, but sort of suspended in one place in the tank like an Angelfish decoration. Is that typical behavior?

i have raised and bred angels many time over the last 30+ years and they are one of my favorite fish
But they are not very active fish, as long as they are eating thats good
keep the water quality good and temp between 76-80 and they will be fine
