miscellaneous - breaking down a freshwater tank

Ok, I have had enough - have been trying to cycle a new planted tank for a month (fishlessly, that is, and with tetra safe start, but that's another topic), and am just fed up. Therefore:

10 gallon tank with standard hood, $20
manual gravel vac (retail$10), $3
tetra submersible aquarium heater, 50 watt (up to 10 gals) $10
large bottle of Tetra Aquasafe, $5
small bottles of the following are gently used, I haven't done much with most of this stuff:

API test kits for nitrite, nitrate, pHDown, nutrafin plant gro, API algaefix, box of maracyn2, wardley betta pellets and dried blood worms, 7 day betta blocks --- all of it $15 or $3 each

:(

Sorry to hear that you've been having trouble but you didn't really need to do a full cycle with a well planted tank.

Are you going to sell your plants too? (I need to fill out yet another tank...)

I didn't list them because I'm not sure what they are, and they have snails, probably flatworms, and some weird little creature that looks like a spider - about 3/8 in. long. They came from New World Aquarium, which is supposed to be a fancy place on 38th St. in Manhattan, but somehow I found this little odd white spider guy in the tank yesterday - he was really the last straw. If you're interested I'll save them though. This is all contingent on someone taking my betta (posted in the free section) - if no one wants him I guess I'll stick it out.
