Vinyl tubing

Hello,

I bought a roll of 3/4" ID clear vinyl tubing from ebay and didn't do my research. Apparently it is surplus sold by the ebay seller without manufacturer markings or provenance.

So I am uncertain if this is aquarium safe.

Does anyone know if vinyl tubing is vinyl tubing and the generic product is known to be non-toxic and safe aquarium usage or is this stuff only suitable for drainage?

Thanks.
