live sand

I always thought live sand had to be sealed to stay live. I recently spoke to Betsey Moore owner of Carib Sea, and was told if u open a bag and do not use al of it as long as u seal it and it stays wet it will be fine. If it does dry out it can still be used it just is not live anymore.
