Algae
 
I have Algae on the sand and on the glass it's sort of like a yellow mustard in appearence. 15 gallon tank live rock and sand , two clowns , 3 nerite snails 1 star polyp tank is running about 7 weeks .lighting is 7.5 hours a day ,the last time I checked nitrates they were low anything else I should know ?

ypou have to clean more often

High lighting

Now that I'm reading about cycling reef tanks the algae was part of the cycling process not the high lighting :)
