first nyc water in 4 of the borough are 6.8 -7.0 except SI
second you still have to declorinate.
Then adjust the temperture.
I do not age. no need

Any water conditioner will do. Use only as directed or you'll be wasting it.

My test with stress-coat on NY tap water reveals that drop per gallon is plenty enough.

water cond

you have to read each bottle
as every company make different items
some remove just clorine some cloamine some ammoni,
in ny we have cloramine, so you want one that removes cloramine and ammonia

I've always used Stress Coat maybe because it works and I bought a gallon years ago.

Chloramine is a compund of chlorine and ammonia,

If one has nothing to do with his/her spare time, more can be found here.

I love stress coat too, but have used Prime and kordons
Both with the same results. There are alot of quality brand out there, just read the label to see what they remove
