Aquarium Seasonal Changes

In nature fish go through seasonal changes. How come aquarist have not adapted this practice in home Aquariums?? I've found that in my reef tanks the corals greatly benefit from a slightly lower temperature in the winter months as well as a reduction in lighting periods.

I'd like members to answer a few questions for my study:

What Temp is your tank set to? -
Saltwater or freshwater? -
Planted, Coral or Fish Only? -
Do you keep the same temp all year? -

Thanks for your input

seasons

alot of breeders use this to help trigger spawning. Sometimes raising or lowering water temp will help or even water changes will promote spawning.
Moon light are also supposed to help.
Every fish has a different trigger point, the trick is to figure out what it is.

I don't no my guppys don't want to drop and there supposed to be the easiest to breed; I heard black worms get them going?? I will try a temperature change.

weather changes

Its only nature that weather parameters change as in the wild. I've read from many sources that temp changed trigger spawning. Im trying temps in the 80's for the bettas.

guppies

i have raised and bread them with flakes only
they do need a little hardness in the water
salt or crush coral

I'll used the crushed coral in the corner box. Trying to trigger these bettas but they are funny about temp and age of the pair
