What To Do About Alkaline Hard Water

A lot of people on Yahoo Fish Answers ask me how to bring their pH and Hardness down. If they are not super high, a piece of Malaysian Driftwood (boiled first) will reduce pH and hardness so its suitable for Amazon species. If you have naturally hard tap water, try adding a little bit of plain white vinegar. If all else fails, get an API Water Sotening Pillow and Seachem Acid Buffer.
