Dirt

I was talking to dee from bklyn he told me try using dirt in a planted tank ;OKso here s how I'm setting up. I went to Home Depot they didn't have pure dirt so I went out to the front lawn with my trusty spade and grabed enough to cover 2 in ; then I bought a bag of sand in petland to cover the dirt and that's where I'm at right now . Will update🎅🎅👻😎😎:hahano:

you have to be carefull of dirt from your yard
it may contain harmfull chemicals, fertilizers, or even animal waste.

Dirt Based Planted Tank Update

The soil make a heck of a difference but this time I'm staying away from the C02 and pruning the roots and
plants a lot more as they deplete the nutrients inthe tank resulting in yellow leaves and potassium deficiency
