Dealing with Heat / Preparing for Blackout.

I was wondering what precautions people are taking in case there is a blackout in the are.

Here is what i got.

1) I have 2 bottles with frozen water in them to fight heat.

2) I have a small fan that will be setup to blow across the water surface to provide evaporative cooling

3) I have 2 battery operated air pumps with fresh batteries

4) I have a power inverter to run poweheads and a small return pump off of car battery

I'd like to get a battery backup (I used to have one) and a small generator in the near future.

I've seen people loose their entire tanks during balckouts, there is so much invested especially in livestock that one would be stupid :slap: not to be at least somewhat prepared.

You forgot your Prayer Book. A little Divine Intervention may help. :bow2:
