Another of the Lake Apoyo Midas offshoot endemics, Amphilophus flaveolus looks like a smaller, thinner Chancho. The size is listed at 5.3 inches, pH 6.5-7.5, temeprature 78-82. There are some in captivity. Substantial information on this new species is lacking. See Images of Amphilophus flaveolus for pictures.
