I was wondering, I was told it is good to add marine Salt to a Cichlid tank, If I were to bring the salinity to atout 1.014 which is a little higher then most fish stores keep theit saltwater fish at, Would it be possible to mix some peacock chiclids with some saltwater fsh since both can live at that level.

I know it is not natural and most people frown on this type of thing but you sure can get a tank that would be one of a kind and look great.

Would the chiclids eventually be harmed by the salinity being up so high?

Thoughts and opinionws.
