I checked with Nortech Laboratories, Inc. in Farmingdale, LI. They make Gel Cold Packs for shipping products that require cool temperatures. They apparently do not recommend using Cold packs for live Tropical Fish because there is a possibility that the temperature inside an insulated container could drop to 50 degrees or lower.
Is there a website that sells cold packs specifically for shipping live Tropical Fish?

I found an interesting article about shipping fish on the web at this address http://www.aquarticles.com/articles/...ThemThere.html
