I don't personally have any Camallanus worms, and I have 9 tanks. My readers on Yahoo get them from time to time, and they complain that the recommended wormers don't work. They do work, but you have to treat twice in 2 weeks as the Camallanus resting stages will hatch after the first dose of drug wears off. In a small tank you could eliminate them by cleaning everything, but that would necessitate boiling the gravel or treating the entire fishless tank with Levamisole, Fenbendazole, or bleach, and then washing everything again. That's why they are so nightmarish to cure.
