Dealing with Heat / Preparing for Blackout.
I was wondering what precautions people are taking in case there is a blackout in the are.
Here is what i got. 1) I have 2 bottles with frozen water in them to fight heat. 2) I have a small fan that will be setup to blow across the water surface to provide evaporative cooling 3) I have 2 battery operated air pumps with fresh batteries 4) I have a power inverter to run poweheads and a small return pump off of car battery I'd like to get a battery backup (I used to have one) and a small generator in the near future. I've seen people loose their entire tanks during balckouts, there is so much invested especially in livestock that one would be stupid not to be at least somewhat prepared.
