Question: Labidochromis id
Kindly help me with your best opinion as to what these are, my research takes me to Labidochromis Hongi?, Mbamba? Perlmutt? or a possible hybrid. Thanks.

They appear to be too yellow and not blue enough for hongi or mbamba, and match up well with published photos of sp. Perlmutt. Bear in mind that the taxonomic status of this genus is still not completely agreed on, and sp. Perlmutt. isn't cast in in concrete, and could be a hybrid in part, hence the sp. before the specfici designation.

The drop down images of Labidochromis sp. "Perlmutt" on Cichlid-Forums has a few that look just like yours.

Their coloration changes so quick they look like different fish from one minute to the next. Thanks again.
