I love aquaclear filter, they are simple tio hook up and clean
Low maint cost.

Unlike a lot of other HOB filters the aquaclear gives you the option of putting different types of media in the unit. Your not stuck with a foam pack with carbon on the inside. My favorite HOB!

What is the best media for these types filters ; right not I have just the foam blockand a bag of crushed coral to bring up the ph I was thinking mabe thoses macaroni type media you put in the ehiems??

I got my application back in the mail with a note that you have to send the UPC codes from 1 separately purchased filter pad and 1 carbon pad, not the ones that come with your new filter.
