Default quarantine

Does anybody quarantine new plants when first purchaserd? How do you treat the. Just thought about a prior experience with Duck weed, and how do know if those plants have hitch hikers how them(snails, parasites ) who's the plant guru

I never quarantined plants , I just got a shipment from my bro down in Florida and I happened to have a tank with no fish in it so I put the plants in that tank; and I'm glad I did as they were loaded with snails which I didn't want in my other tanks ; so yes I think it is a good idea .🍃🍃🌴🌴🌾🌾

Default Always Good to Quarantine

I found that out the hard way as many plants carry duckweed or snails. Either of those can be a real nightmare to fix. If you're lucky thats all you get in your tank.
