Capital Cichlid Society Aquafest - Brooklyn Aquarium Society

The Capital Cichlid Society meets the day after we do every month. In October, on the 19th and 20th, the are having Aquafest, a 2 day event of speakers, vendors, auctions and a fish show. BAS members are invited to attend. Email or Contact their website for further info.

The Capital Cichlid Assoication meets in conjunction with other groups in or near the National Capital - Washington DC Area. They don't meet in the same place every time. The location for Aquafest has not yet been set, but the East Coast Monsterfishkeepers Konvention will be September 20-22 at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel. There will be 8 Speakers, some from Europe, all giving new presentations. There will be a Huge Pleco/Synodontis Raffle, where large rare Catfish will be given away. There will be vendors and live presentations, and free breakfast and Beer for 2 days. You can register for either on their website.
