Help with Otocinclus
Hello!!
This is my first post. Hoping someone might have some insight. I have an otocinclus that I transferred to my larger tank so she would have company of her own kind. The first week or so she was fine then began to fade. The past few days she has been near death and I'm not sure what to do. I know these little guys have a rough time in new environments and generally don't make it but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what could help her. Part of me wants to put her out of her misery, but then the other part tells me she's a fighter and will pull through somehow. I've been using Melafix daily to help her and have added some salt. Anyone?? I hate seeing her suffering like this!! I have a 30g planted community tank, water parameters are fine and do weekly water changes (usually more) and clean the filters etc. Any help is appreciated!! |
