Default Mouth rot french angel

Hello,

I am having a problem with mouth rot and what appears to be ich on my french angel. It started 2 days ago. He is not really eating today. The reason I said ich is i see some spots on him and now on two ther fish. What can I do.

Tank setup is as follows
150 gallon
Aqueon 4 proflex sump setup with refrugium in center chamber, uv steralizer in sump.
Live rock and live sand.

We have one anemone and two or three coral frags nothing expensive as far as coral a friend gave me a few frags to try out.

I can't treat with coppersafe, Imhave no idea what to do to keep this fish alive and not have this spread.
Looks like that coliminurs disease.

My local fish store told be to try kick ich, did first dose yesterday, was told it is all I can use that won't kill my rock, sand, etc.... Or ich attack. I chose kick ich as I saw some people post they had positave results with it.

You guys are the experts, can someone please help. Imhave no qt tank and even if i took out the few fish infected wouldn't the bacteria or fungus still be in the main tank.

Help?

Thank you

Ross

Default ich

the best remedy for ich is copper, but it can not be used in a reef or a tank with live rock or live sand.
the best thing is to setup a hospital tank. To help kill off the ich or speed up it's short life, is to raise the temp. to about 82. and lower the salinity to about 1.017-1.018
both not good for a reef. thats why u need to seperate him.
then you can use copeer to a safe level for about 3-4 weeks
the longer u wait the harder it is to get rid of it.
I have tryed alot of other chemicals they just do not work.
once it is better you have to slowly acclimate him back to the original salinity
get him out soon before he infects others
