Default

I hooked up a reef octopus 1000 hob skimmer. not a bad skimmer as hob goes.
I have hooked about 6 different hang on the bag skimmers, they r just not as good as a good in sump in my opinion.
it is well made , takes about a week to break in.

Default hob skimmers

I have not had good success with hang on skimmers
I recently hooked up a reef octopus 1000
I was not too happy with it
I think the aqua-c is better
less to go wrong and easier to hookup
