why is it rising, our ph in ny comes out at 6.8
you can add ro water or brita water to lower it |

I have crushed coral in box filters so I guess I'll remove it , my tap is 7.0

Driftwood may help
Malaysian and African Driftwood contain tannins which soften water and lower the pH.

Good Stuff in Indian Almond Leaves
Almond leaves have flavonoids and saponines as well. They are used in Chinese herbal medicine to treat Plasmodium parasites and some bacterial infections. Tests have shown they work on Plasmodium and they may keep Betta eggs from fungusing.
