IM AT MY BROTHERS HOUSE IN FLORIDA AND HE HAS HAD VERY GOOD SUCESS WIYH GUPPYS AND PLANTS. EG; hornwort; baby tear s , java moss and dosent do antthing speical so the first thing I look at is water PH AND I TESTED HIS TAP WHICH IS 7.6 I guess they like the hard water as I've tested NY tap is
7.0 so I adjusted my water by puttin crushed coral in my box filters(:-))🐠🐠🐬🐳🐙🌴

I could very well get seashells or limestone rocks but what's wrong with crushed coral in the box filters as I c petland dose that to its box filters and I have a 10lb bag because I also have Africans

crushed coral is what I have always used with good results.

Thanks for the reply; so far the crushed coral seems to be working . I bid on some guppy grass at the club and 1 of the members said if its not in hard water it will melt away..

They call naja grass guppy grass it can b found on aquabid
