Default Cichlid Profiles- Cichlasoma geddesi

This plain little gray or green gray 4 inch fish from southern Mexico and Central America has been virtually ignored since it was named in 1905. It has a horizontal line of splothces from gill cover to tail and an ocellus on the caudal penduncle. It has vestiges of vertical bars on the rear 3/5 of the body. It is benthopelagic.

There is no other reliable information about it , and I'm not sure it even belongs in Cichlasoma. See Images of Cichlasoma geddesi for pictures.
