Does anyone know about sea apples, are they hard to keep?

I've heard that they are hard to keep but more importantly they pose a huge threat to your reef if they die and you don't catch it on time. With all the flesh rotting your water parameters will go to hell taking everything else with it.

Default sea apples

That also let off a potent toxin, that can wipe out a tank
They are hard to feed as they need to be fed 3 to 4 time a day. They are filter feeders, I would stay away from them.
