Smile new SIG

In the next few months we are planning several events for groups:

Special Interest Group (SIG) at Pete Warny's Manhattan location that features oddball turtles, frogs and fish. The location is upstairs from New World Aquarium on EAst 35 (?) Street between 2 & 3 Ave. Probably a Sat or Sun late morning to early afternoon.

Another SIG to Gene Kogan's breeding set up where attendees get to see how Gene breeds angelfish, glo-lite danios and many other freshwater fish.

Another SIG at Bernard Deren's saltwater tanks. Everything is on timers and automated for fast response for the aquarist who is always busy.

Last, a bus trip to Long Island Aquarium & Exposition Center in Riverhead, Long Island. Curator Joe Yaiullo will provide a behind the scenes tour for us to see their breeding efforts and how to mainatin a 20,000 gallon aquarium, then its outside to play with baby crocodiles and see the man eating plants. This trip is scheduled to take place on July 28.

Let us know which events you are interested in or all of them.
