Why Do They Hate Airstones?
Over the past 10 years, I've has 1 Rose Queen, 2 Midas Cichlids, and one Red Texas Cichlid that throw the air stones out of their tanks. Right now, I'm watching the Yankee game, and my Red Texas Cichlid is continuing his protracted attack on the air stone. He has smacked into it 5 times in past hour and now its only 3 inches from the top of the tank. It is curious that all three of these fish share a good portion of the same gene pool. However, it still takes ten to be statisitcally significant. Are there 6 more out there?

Red Texas Airstone Deja Vu
It's the 13th of the August and I'm watching the Yankee game. So what is the Red Texas Cichlid doing? Launching himself at top speed at the airstone, banging it against the glass and trying to pull it's tubing out. Yesterday he threw it out of the tank. Why does he do this on the 13th of the month during Yankee games? Curious Flowerhorns want to know!

Red Texas Cichlid Celebrates Hurricane Season
Today, Agust 15, with the Yankee game on, the Red Txas Cichlid has changed tactics. He is now spitting mouthfuls of gravel at the airstone. Maybe the airstone represents the baseball and he is trying different batting strtegies?
