re-scaping while CPO (mexican dwarf crayfish) berried

Hello! Just joined this forum and I'm excited to meet some like-minded enthusiasts.

I currently have a breeding pair of CPO in a ~5gal bookshelf nano-tank I picked up just a few short weeks ago. To my surprise, they actually bred despite the small tank conditions!

I'd been meaning to re-scape the tank to better accomodate the crayfish but now that the female is berried I'm wondering if re-housing even temporarily would be too disruptive?

I'm brand new and wasn't expecting to go right into crayfish breeding, any tips would be appreciated!
