Root Tabs - Brooklyn Aquarium Society

Where do you guys get root tabs from? I have seen the API tabs at Brooklyn Zoo & Aquarium but I'd like to know what else is available locally. Or do you prefer to make your own?

I have picked them, or a reasonable facsimile thereof, up at the local fish store of the moment
Since Pacific Aquarium always has a good selection of plants I would expect that they also have fertilizers
The Doctors Fosters and Smith catalog is sitting here so I checked and they have them listed in their Plant Care section
